He will be as free and wild as an untamed donkey. He will fight with everyone, and everyone will fight with him. He will have conflicts with all his relatives.”

You may use a bull or a sheep with a deformity or one that is stunted in growth as a freewill offering. However, it will not be accepted for a vow.

Set apart the fiftieth year as holy, and proclaim liberty to everyone living in the land. This is your jubilee year. Every slave will be freed in order to return to his property and to his family.

“In this jubilee year every slave will be freed in order to return to his property.

If he cannot buy his freedom in these ways, he and his children will be released in the year of jubilee.

But if her father objects when he hears about it, her vow or oath doesn’t have to be kept. Yahweh will free her from this vow or oath because her father objected.

But if her husband objects when he hears about it, he can cancel the vow or promise she made. Yahweh will free her from this vow or promise.

But if her husband cancels it when he hears about it, nothing she said in her vow or oath has to be kept. Her husband has canceled it, and Yahweh will free her from this vow or oath.

Whenever Hebrew men or women are sold to you as slaves, they will be your slaves for six years. In the seventh year you must let them go free.

If you have to let your slave go free, it won’t be a hardship for you. It would have cost you twice as much to hire someone to do the same work for those six years. Besides, Yahweh your Elohim will bless you in everything you do.

Yahweh, make peace with your people Israel, whom you freed. Don’t let the guilt of this unsolved murder remain among your people Israel.” Then there will be peace with the Lord despite the murder.

A man who has recently been married will be free from military duty or any other public service. For one year he is free to stay at home and make his new wife happy.

Yahweh will judge his people and have compassion on his servants when he sees that their strength is gone and that no one is left, neither slaves nor free people.

The men told her, “We will be free from the oath which you made us swear, if you tell anyone what we’re doing here.
