  14. If he cannot buy his freedom in these ways, he and his children will be released in the year of jubilee.
  15. But if her father objects when he hears about it, her vow or oath doesn’t have to be kept. Yahweh will free her from this vow or oath because her father objected.

  20. Yahweh, make peace with your people Israel, whom you freed. Don’t let the guilt of this unsolved murder remain among your people Israel.” Then there will be peace with the Lord despite the murder.
  21. A man who has recently been married will be free from military duty or any other public service. For one year he is free to stay at home and make his new wife happy.
  22. Yahweh will judge his people and have compassion on his servants when he sees that their strength is gone and that no one is left, neither slaves nor free people.
