Through Cyrus the Lord Will Set Israel Free

Yahweh reclaimed you. He formed you in the womb. This is what Yahweh says: I, Yahweh, made everything. I stretched out the heavens by myself. I spread out the earth all alone.

I prepared Cyrus for my righteous purpose. I will make all his roads straight. He will build my city and let my exiles go free without any payment or any reward, says Yahweh Tsebaoth.

This is what Yahweh says: Prisoners will be freed from mighty men. Loot will be taken away from tyrants. I will fight your enemies, and I will save your children.

Chained prisoners will be set free. They will not die in prison. They will not go without food.

The Lord’s Word Will Accomplish Its Task

“Listen! Whoever is thirsty, come to the water! Whoever has no money can come, buy, and eat! Come, buy wine and milk. You don’t have to pay; it’s free!

Let wicked people abandon their ways. Let evil people abandon their thoughts. Let them return to Yahweh, and he will show compassion to them. Let them return to our Elohim, because he will freely forgive them.

The Lord Will Anoint His Servant with His Spirit

The Ruach of Adonay Yahweh is with me because Yahweh has anointed me to deliver good news to humble people. He has sent me to heal those who are brokenhearted, to announce that captives will be set free and prisoners will be released.

I will rescue you from the power of wicked people and free you from the power of tyrants.

Yahweh will free the descendants of Jacob and reclaim them from those who are stronger than they are.

But suppose the prince offers a gift from his property to one of his servants. The gift will belong to the servant only until the year of freedom. Then the gift will go back to the prince. Only his sons can inherit his property.
