  1. Then he believed in the Lord; and He credited it to him as righteousness.

  8. When Israel saw the great power which the Lord had used against the Egyptians, the people feared the Lord, and they believed in the Lord and in His servant Moses.
  9. Moses Pleads for the People

    And the Lord said to Moses, “How long will this people be disrespectful to Me? And how long will they not believe in Me, despite all the signs that I have performed in their midst?
  10. So Achish believed David, saying, “He has undoubtedly made himself repulsive among his people Israel; therefore he will become my servant forever.”
  11. But I did not believe the stories until I came and my own eyes saw it all. And behold, the half of it was not reported to me. You have exceeded in wisdom and prosperity the report which I heard.
  12. However, they did not listen, but stiffened their neck like their fathers, who did not believe in the Lord their God.

  24. Teach me good discernment and knowledge, For I believe in Your commandments.
  25. The naive believes everything, But the sensible person considers his steps.
