  1. For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
  2. What then? If some did not believe, their unbelief will not nullify the faithfulness of God, will it?

  9. but for our sake also, to whom it will be credited, to us who believe in Him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead,

    What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin so that grace may increase?
  11. Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him,
  12. Believers United to Christ

    Or do you not know, brothers and sisters (for I am speaking to those who know the Law), that the Law has jurisdiction over a person as long as he lives?
  13. just as it is written: “Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense, And the one who believes in Him will not be put to shame.”
  14. For Christ is the end of the Law for righteousness to everyone who believes.
  15. that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;
  16. for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.
  17. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in Him will not be put to shame.”
  18. How then are they to call on Him in whom they have not believed? How are they to believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how are they to hear without a preacher?
  19. However, they did not all heed the good news; for Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our report?”
  20. Do this, knowing the time, that it is already the hour for you to awaken from sleep; for now salvation is nearer to us than when we first believed.
