  1. A World Gone Wrong

    Then the people began to multiply on the earth, and daughters were born to them.

  11. Blessings for Obedience

    “If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully keep all his commands that I am giving you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the world.
  12. Then all the nations of the world will see that you are a people claimed by the Lord, and they will stand in awe of you.
  13. He lifts the poor from the dust and the needy from the garbage dump. He sets them among princes, placing them in seats of honor. For all the earth is the Lord’s, and he has set the world in order.
  14. Today the Lord will conquer you, and I will kill you and cut off your head. And then I will give the dead bodies of your men to the birds and wild animals, and the whole world will know that there is a God in Israel!
  15. And I will also give you what you did not ask for—riches and fame! No other king in all the world will be compared to you for the rest of your life!
