  1. “So fear the Lord and serve him wholeheartedly. Put away forever the idols your ancestors worshiped when they lived beyond the Euphrates River and in Egypt. Serve the Lord alone.

  23. Fear the Lord and judge with integrity, for the Lord our God does not tolerate perverted justice, partiality, or the taking of bribes.”
  24. These were his instructions to them: “You must always act in the fear of the Lord, with faithfulness and an undivided heart.
  25. When all the surrounding kingdoms heard that the Lord himself had fought against the enemies of Israel, the fear of God came over them.
