  17. ‘And after all this, if you do not obey Me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins.
  18. ‘Then, if you walk contrary to Me, and are not willing to obey Me, I will bring on you seven times more plagues, according to your sins.
  19. then I also will walk contrary to you, and I will punish you yet seven times for your sins.
  20. then I also will walk contrary to you in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins.
  21. As long as it lies desolate it shall rest— for the time it did not rest on your sabbaths when you dwelt in it.
  22. “Let the children of Israel keep the Passover at its appointed time.
  23. On the fourteenth day of this month, at twilight, you shall keep it at its appointed time. According to all its rites and ceremonies you shall keep it.”
  24. And those men said to him, “We became defiled by a human corpse. Why are we kept from presenting the offering of the Lord at its appointed time among the children of Israel?”
  25. But the man who is clean and is not on a journey, and ceases to keep the Passover, that same person shall be cut off from among his people, because he did not bring the offering of the Lord at its appointed time; that man shall bear his sin.
