  23. Harsh discipline is for him who forsakes the way, And he who hates correction will die.
  24. The way of the lazy man is like a hedge of thorns, But the way of the upright is a highway.
  25. The way of life winds upward for the wise, That he may turn away from hell below.
  26. There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death.
  27. The silver-haired head is a crown of glory, If it is found in the way of righteousness.
  28. The way of a guilty man is perverse; But as for the pure, his work is right.
  29. A man who wanders from the way of understanding Will rest in the assembly of the dead.
  30. Thorns and snares are in the way of the perverse; He who guards his soul will be far from them.
  31. Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.
  32. Hear, my son, and be wise; And guide your heart in the way.
  33. An unjust man is an abomination to the righteous, And he who is upright in the way is an abomination to the wicked.
  34. The way of an eagle in the air, The way of a serpent on a rock, The way of a ship in the midst of the sea, And the way of a man with a virgin.
  35. This is the way of an adulterous woman: She eats and wipes her mouth, And says, “I have done no wickedness.”
