  1. Then Pharaoh’s daughter went down to the Nile to bathe, and her attendants were walking along the riverbank. She saw the basket among the reeds and sent her female slave to get it.
  2. So now, go. I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people the Israelites out of Egypt.”

  7. But Moses said, “Pardon your servant, Lord. Please send someone else.”
  8. Then Moses told Aaron everything the Lord had sent him to say, and also about all the signs he had commanded him to perform.
  9. God Promises Deliverance

    Moses returned to the Lord and said, “Why, Lord, why have you brought trouble on this people? Is this why you sent me?
  10. Then say to him, ‘The Lord, the God of the Hebrews, has sent me to say to you: Let my people go, so that they may worship me in the wilderness. But until now you have not listened.
  11. If you refuse to let them go, I will send a plague of frogs on your whole country.
  12. If you do not let my people go, I will send swarms of flies on you and your officials, on your people and into your houses. The houses of the Egyptians will be full of flies; even the ground will be covered with them.
  13. or this time I will send the full force of my plagues against you and against your officials and your people, so you may know that there is no one like me in all the earth.
  14. Therefore, at this time tomorrow I will send the worst hailstorm that has ever fallen on Egypt, from the day it was founded till now.

  19. God’s Angel to Prepare the Way

    “See, I am sending an angel ahead of you to guard you along the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared.

  24. Moses and the Glory of the Lord

    Moses said to the Lord, “You have been telling me, ‘Lead these people,’ but you have not let me know whom you will send with me. You have said, ‘I know you by name and you have found favor with me.’
