  1. Abraham looked up and saw three men standing nearby. When he saw them, he hurried from the entrance of his tent to meet them and bowed low to the ground.

  22. So Aaron did as Moses said, and ran into the midst of the assembly. The plague had already started among the people, but Aaron offered the incense and made atonement for them.

    Then the Lord said to Moses, “Go up this mountain in the Abarim Range and see the land I have given the Israelites.
  24. “‘Do not accept a ransom for the life of a murderer, who deserves to die. They are to be put to death.
  25. “‘Do not accept a ransom for anyone who has fled to a city of refuge and so allow them to go back and live on their own land before the death of the high priest.
