  1. To this day they have not humbled themselves or shown reverence, nor have they followed my law and the decrees I set before you and your ancestors.

  15. I am afraid that when I come again my God will humble me before you, and I will be grieved over many who have sinned earlier and have not repented of the impurity, sexual sin and debauchery in which they have indulged.

    Finally, all of you, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and humble.
  22. In the same way, you who are younger, submit yourselves to your elders. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, “God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.”
  23. Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.
