  11. Pharaoh said, “I will let you go to offer sacrifices to the Lord your God in the wilderness, but you must not go very far. Now pray for me.”
  12. Moses answered, “As soon as I leave you, I will pray to the Lord, and tomorrow the flies will leave Pharaoh and his officials and his people. Only let Pharaoh be sure that he does not act deceitfully again by not letting the people go to offer sacrifices to the Lord.”
  13. Then Moses left Pharaoh and prayed to the Lord,
  14. Pray to the Lord, for we have had enough thunder and hail. I will let you go; you don’t have to stay any longer.”
  15. Moses replied, “When I have gone out of the city, I will spread out my hands in prayer to the Lord. The thunder will stop and there will be no more hail, so you may know that the earth is the Lord’s.
  16. Now forgive my sin once more and pray to the Lord your God to take this deadly plague away from me.”
  17. Moses then left Pharaoh and prayed to the Lord.
  18. When the people cried out to Moses, he prayed to the Lord and the fire died down.
  19. The people came to Moses and said, “We sinned when we spoke against the Lord and against you. Pray that the Lord will take the snakes away from us.” So Moses prayed for the people.
  20. What other nation is so great as to have their gods near them the way the Lord our God is near us whenever we pray to him?
  21. And the Lord was angry enough with Aaron to destroy him, but at that time I prayed for Aaron too.
