  1. So Jacob rose early in the morning, and took the stone that he had put under his head and set it up as a pillar and poured oil on its top.

  10. The Anointing Oil

    Moreover, the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
  11. and of cassia five hundred, according to the shekel of the sanctuary, and of olive oil a hin.
  12. You shall make of these a holy anointing oil, a perfume mixture, the work of a perfumer; it shall be a holy anointing oil.
  13. You shall speak to the sons of Israel, saying, ‘This shall be a holy anointing oil to Me throughout your generations.
  14. the anointing oil also, and the fragrant incense for the holy place, they are to make them according to all that I have commanded you.”
  15. and oil for lighting, and spices for the anointing oil, and for the fragrant incense,
  16. the lampstand also for the light and its utensils and its lamps and the oil for the light;
  17. and the altar of incense and its poles, and the anointing oil and the fragrant incense, and the screen for the doorway at the entrance of the tabernacle;
  18. and the spice and the oil for the light and for the anointing oil and for the fragrant incense.
  19. And he made the holy anointing oil and the pure, fragrant incense of spices, the work of a perfumer.
  20. the pure gold lampstand, with its arrangement of lamps and all its utensils, and the oil for the light;
  21. and the gold altar, and the anointing oil and the fragrant incense, and the veil for the doorway of the tent;
  22. Then you shall take the anointing oil and anoint the tabernacle and all that is in it, and shall consecrate it and all its furnishings; and it shall be holy.
  23. The Law of Grain Offerings

    ‘Now when anyone presents a grain offering as an offering to the Lord, his offering shall be of fine flour, and he shall pour oil on it and put frankincense on it.
  24. He shall then bring it to Aaron’s sons the priests; and shall take from it his handful of its fine flour and of its oil with all of its frankincense. And the priest shall offer it up in smoke as its memorial portion on the altar, an offering by fire of a soothing aroma to the Lord.
  25. ‘Now when you bring an offering of a grain offering baked in an oven, it shall be unleavened cakes of fine flour mixed with oil, or unleavened wafers spread with oil.
