Therefore, we must fear if, while a promise remains of entering His rest, any one of you may seem to have come short of it. For indeed we have had good news preached to us, just as they also did; but the word they heard did not benefit them, because they were not united with those who listened with faith. For we who have believed enter that rest, just as He has said, “As I swore in My anger, They certainly shall not enter My rest,” although His works were finished from the foundation of the world. ...

  22. And then they returned and prepared spices and perfumes. And on the Sabbath they rested according to the commandment.
  23. and returned from the tomb and reported all these things to the eleven, and to all the rest.
  24. So, when they had come together, they began asking Him, saying, “Lord, is it at this time that You are restoring the kingdom to Israel?”
  25. And tongues that looked like fire appeared to them, distributing themselves, and a tongue rested on each one of them.
