  1. For every high priest is appointed to offer both gifts and sacrifices; so it is necessary that this high priest also have something to offer.
  2. Now if He were on earth, He would not be a priest at all, since there are those who offer the gifts according to the Law;
  3. Now when these things have been so prepared, the priests are continually entering the outer tabernacle, performing the divine worship,

  8. and since we have a great priest over the house of God,
  9. For the bodies of those animals whose blood is brought into the Holy Place by the high priest as an offering for sin are burned outside the camp.
