  1. Now the priest of Midian had seven daughters; and they came to draw water and filled the troughs to water their father’s flock.

    Now Moses was pasturing the flock of his father-in-law Jethro, the priest of Midian; and he led the flock to the west side of the wilderness and came to Horeb, the mountain of God.

  8. The soothsayer priests could not stand before Moses because of the boils, for the boils were on the soothsayer priests as well as on all the Egyptians.
  9. Jethro, Moses’ Father-in-law

    Now Jethro, the priest of Midian, Moses’ father-in-law, heard about everything that God had done for Moses and for Israel His people, how the Lord had brought Israel out of Egypt.
  10. and you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’ These are the words that you shall speak to the sons of Israel.”
  11. Also have the priests who approach the Lord consecrate themselves, or else the Lord will break out against them.”
  12. Then the Lord said to him, “Go down and come up again, you and Aaron with you; but do not let the priests and the people break through to come up to the Lord, or He will break out against them.”
  13. Garments of the Priests

    “Then bring forward to yourself your brother Aaron, and his sons with him, from among the sons of Israel, to serve as priest to Me—Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, Aaron’s sons.
  14. You shall speak to all the skillful people whom I have endowed with the spirit of wisdom, that they make Aaron’s garments to consecrate him, that he may serve as priest to Me.
  15. And these are the garments which they shall make: a breastpiece, an ephod, a robe, a tunic of checkered work, a turban, and a sash. They shall make holy garments for your brother Aaron and his sons, so that he may serve as priest to Me.
  16. Then you shall put them on Aaron your brother and on his sons with him; and you shall anoint them and ordain them and consecrate them, so that they may serve Me as priests.
  17. Consecration of the Priests

    “Now this is what you shall do to them to consecrate them to serve as priests to Me: take one bull and two rams without blemish,
  18. And you shall wrap their waists with sashes, Aaron and his sons, and fit caps on them, and they shall have the priesthood by a permanent statute. So you shall ordain Aaron and his sons.
  19. For seven days the one of his sons who is priest in his place shall put them on when he enters the tent of meeting to minister in the Holy Place.
  20. Food of the Priests

    “Now you shall take the ram of ordination and boil its flesh in a holy place.
  21. I will consecrate the tent of meeting and the altar; I will also consecrate Aaron and his sons to serve as priests to Me.
  22. And you shall anoint Aaron and his sons, and consecrate them, so that they may serve as priests to Me.
  23. the woven garments as well: the holy garments for Aaron the priest and the garments of his sons, with which to carry out their priesthood;
  24. the woven garments for ministering in the Holy Place, the holy garments for Aaron the priest and the garments of his sons, to serve as priests.’”
  25. The Cost of the Tabernacle

    This is the number of the things for the tabernacle, the tabernacle of the testimony, as they were counted according to the command of Moses, for the service of the Levites, by the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.
