  11. Things to Come

    Then He continued by saying to them, “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom,
  12. and they will fall by the edge of the sword, and will be led captive into all the nations; and Jerusalem will be trampled underfoot by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
  13. The Return of Christ

    “There will be signs in the sun and moon and stars, and on the earth distress among nations, in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and the waves,
  14. And they began to bring charges against Him, saying, “We found this man misleading our nation and forbidding us to pay taxes to Caesar, and saying that He Himself is Christ, a King.”
  15. and that repentance for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in His name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.
  16. If we let Him go on like this, all the people will believe in Him, and the Romans will come and take over both our place and our nation.”
