  1. But I do not consider my life of any account as dear to myself, so that I may finish my course and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify solemnly of the gospel of God’s grace.
  2. And now I entrust you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and to give you the inheritance among all those who are sanctified.
  3. through whom we have received grace and apostleship to bring about the obedience of faith among all the Gentiles in behalf of His name,
  4. to all who are beloved of God in Rome, called as saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
  5. being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus,
  6. For this reason it is by faith, in order that it may be in accordance with grace, so that the promise will be guaranteed to all the descendants, not only to those who are of the Law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all,
  7. through whom we also have obtained our introduction by faith into this grace in which we stand; and we celebrate in hope of the glory of God.
  8. But the gracious gift is not like the offense. For if by the offense of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many.
  9. For if by the offense of the one, death reigned through the one, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.
  10. The Law came in so that the offense would increase; but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more,
  11. so that, as sin reigned in death, so also grace would reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
  12. Believers Are Dead to Sin, Alive to God

    What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin so that grace may increase?
  13. For sin shall not be master over you, for you are not under the Law but under grace.
  14. What then? Are we to sin because we are not under the Law but under grace? Far from it!
  15. But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works, since otherwise grace is no longer grace.
  16. For through the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think more highly of himself than he ought to think; but to think so as to have sound judgment, as God has allotted to each a measure of faith.
  17. However, since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, each of us is to use them properly: if prophecy, in proportion to one’s faith;
  18. But I have written very boldly to you on some points so as to remind you again, because of the grace that was given to me from God,
  19. The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.
  20. Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
  21. I thank my God always concerning you for the grace of God which was given you in Christ Jesus,
  22. According to the grace of God which was given to me, like a wise master builder I laid a foundation, and another is building on it. But each person must be careful how he builds on it.
  23. But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me did not prove vain; but I labored even more than all of them, yet not I, but the grace of God with me.
  24. The grace of the Lord Jesus be with you.
  25. Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
