  17. Now it happened that the poor man died and was carried away by the angels to Abraham’s arms; and the rich man also died and was buried.
  18. So then, there were seven brothers; and the first took a wife and died childless;
  19. and the third married her; and in the same way all seven died, leaving no children.
  20. Finally the woman also died.
  21. And Jesus, crying out with a loud voice, said, “Father, into Your hands I entrust My spirit.” And having said this, He died.
  22. Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and they died.
  23. This is the bread that came down out of heaven, not as the fathers ate and died; the one who eats this bread will live forever.”
  24. The Jews said to Him, “Now we know that You have a demon. Abraham died, and the prophets as well; and yet You say, ‘If anyone follows My word, he will never taste of death.’
  25. You are not greater than our father Abraham, who died, are You? The prophets died too. Whom do You make Yourself out to be?”
