But when Herod died, behold, an angel of the Lord *appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt, and said,

Miracles of Healing
While He was saying these things to them, behold, a synagogue official came and bowed down before Him, and said, “My daughter has just died; but come and lay Your hand on her, and she will become alive again.”

He said, “Leave; for the girl has not died, but is asleep.” And they began laughing at Him.
-
Now there were seven brothers among us; and the first married and died, and having no children, he left his wife to his brother.
-
Last of all, the woman died.
-
And He got up and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “Hush, be still.” And the wind died down and it became perfectly calm.
-
While He was still speaking, people *came from the house of the synagogue official, saying, “Your daughter has died; why bother the Teacher further?”
-
And after entering, He *said to them, “Why are you making a commotion and weeping? The child has not died, but is asleep.”
-
There were seven brothers; and the first took a wife, and died leaving no children.
-
The second one married her, and died leaving behind no children; and the third likewise;
-
and so the seven together left no children. Last of all the woman also died.
-
But Jesus let out a loud cry, and died.
-
And when the centurion, who was standing right in front of Him, saw that He died in this way, he said, “Truly this man was the Son of God!”

While He was still speaking, someone *came from the house of the synagogue official, saying, “Your daughter has died; do not trouble the Teacher anymore.”

Now they were all weeping and mourning for her; but He said, “Stop weeping, for she has not died, but is asleep.”

And they began laughing at Him, knowing that she had died.

Now it happened that the poor man died and was carried away by the angels to Abraham’s arms; and the rich man also died and was buried.

So then, there were seven brothers; and the first took a wife and died childless;

and the third married her; and in the same way all seven died, leaving no children.

Finally the woman also died.

And Jesus, crying out with a loud voice, said, “Father, into Your hands I entrust My spirit.” And having said this, He died.

Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and they died.
-
This is the bread that came down out of heaven, not as the fathers ate and died; the one who eats this bread will live forever.”

The Jews said to Him, “Now we know that You have a demon. Abraham died, and the prophets as well; and yet You say, ‘If anyone follows My word, he will never taste of death.’
-
You are not greater than our father Abraham, who died, are You? The prophets died too. Whom do You make Yourself out to be?”
