  12. Immediately Jesus reached out with His hand and took hold of him, and *said to him, “You of little faith, why did you doubt?”
  13. The Faith of a Canaanite Woman

    Jesus went away from there, and withdrew into the region of Tyre and Sidon.
  14. Then Jesus said to her, “O woman, your faith is great; it shall be done for you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed at once.
  15. But Jesus, aware of this, said, “You men of little faith, why are you discussing among yourselves the fact that you have no bread?

  17. And Jesus answered and said to them, “Truly I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ it will happen.
  18. And Jesus, seeing their faith, *said to the paralyzed man, “Son, your sins are forgiven.”
  19. And He said to them, “Why are you afraid? Do you still have no faith?”
  20. And He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace and be cured of your disease.”
  21. And Jesus said to him, “Go; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he regained his sight and began following Him on the road.
  22. And Jesus answered and *said to them, “Have faith in God.
  23. And seeing their faith, He said, “Friend, your sins are forgiven you.”
  24. Now when Jesus heard this, He was amazed at him, and turned and said to the crowd that was following Him, “I say to you, not even in Israel have I found such great faith.”
  25. And He said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.”
