I know your · affliction and your poverty (but you are rich), and the slander against you by those who call themselves Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.

Do not fear what you are about to suffer. The devil is about to throw some of you into prison so that you may be tested, and you will have affliction for ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.

I know where you live, where · Satan has his throne. Yet you are holding fast to · my name, and you did not deny your faith in me even in the days of Antipas · my faithful witness, · who was put to death in your city where · Satan lives.

But to the rest of you · in Thyatira, who do not follow · this teaching (who have not learned ‘the deep things of Satan,’ as they call them), to you I say, I lay on you no other burden,

Behold, I will make those of the synagogue of Satan who claim to be Jews and are not, but lie—I will make them come and bow down before · your feet and understand that I have loved you.

And the great dragon was thrown down, · that ancient serpent, · who is called the devil and · Satan, the deceiver of the whole world—he was thrown down to the earth, and · his angels were thrown down with him.

Therefore, rejoice, O heavens and all who dwell in them! But woe to you, O earth and · sea, for the devil has come down to you having great wrath, because he knows that he has only a short time!”

· He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent · (who is the devil and · Satan), and bound him for a thousand years.

· When the thousand years are finished, Satan will be released · from · his prison

And the devil, the one who had deceived them, was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where both the beast and the false prophet are. · There they will suffer torment day and night for all time. ·
