  1. And again the anger of the Lord was kindled against Israel, and he [Satan] moved David against them to say, “Go, number Israel and Judah.”

  11. And Satan answered the Lord and said, “Skin for skin, yea, all that a man hath will he give for his life.
  12. And the Lord said unto Satan, “Behold, he is in thine hand; only spare his life.”
  13. So went Satan forth from the presence of the Lord, and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown.
  14. Set Thou a wicked man over him, and let Satan stand at his right hand.
  15. And he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him.

  26. And He said unto them, “I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.
  27. If Satan also be divided against himself, how shall his kingdom stand — because ye say that I cast out devils through Beelzebub?
  28. And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath day?”
  29. Then entered Satan into Judas, surnamed Iscariot, being one of the twelve.

  33. to open their eyes and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith that is in Me.’
  34. And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.
