Then Jesus answered, and said unto them, Ye are deceived, not knowing the Scriptures, nor the power of God.

And immediately after the tribulations of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the kindreds of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man come in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

Jesus said to him, Thou hast said it: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man, sitting at the right hand of the power of God , and come in the clouds of the heaven.

And Jesus came, and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me, in heaven, and in earth.

And that they might have power to heal sicknesses, and to cast out devils:

Then Jesus answered, and said unto them, Are ye not therefore deceived, because ye know not the Scriptures, neither the power of God?

And the stars of heaven shall fall: and the powers which are in heaven, shall shake.

And then shall they see the Son of man, coming in the clouds, with great power and glory.

And Jesus said, I am he , and ye shall see the Son of man sit at the right hand of the power of God, and come in the clouds of heaven.

For he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just men, to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.

And the Angel answered, and said unto her, The holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the most High shall overshadow thee: therefore also that Holy thing which shall be born of thee, shall be called the Son of God.

And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of those kingdoms: for that is delivered to me: and to whomsoever I will, I give it.

¶ And Jesus returned by the power of the spirit into Galilee: and there went a fame of him throughout all the region round about:

So fear came on them all, and they spake among themselves, saying, What thing is this: for with authority and power he commandeth the foul spirits, and they come out?

¶ And it came to pass, on a certain day, as he was teaching, that the Pharisees and doctors of the Law sat by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judea, and Jerusalem, and the power of the Lord was in him, to heal them.

¶ And they were all amazed at the mighty power of God: and while they all wondered at all things which Jesus did, he said unto his disciples,

Behold, I give unto you power to tread on Serpents, and Scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you.

But I will forewarn you, whom ye shall fear: fear him which after he hath killed, hath power to cast into hell: yea, I say unto you, him fear.
