  1. And behold, some people brought to him a paralytic, lying on a bed. And when Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, “Take heart, my son; your sins are forgiven.”
  2. Jesus turned, and seeing her he said, “Take heart, daughter; your faith has made you well.” And instantly the woman was made well.

  21. Longing to Go to Rome

    First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for all of you, because your faith is proclaimed in all the world.
  22. that is, that we may be mutually encouraged by each other's faith, both yours and mine.
  23. But the righteousness based on faith says, “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’” (that is, to bring Christ down)
  24. But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith that we proclaim);
  25. The faith that you have, keep between yourself and God. Blessed is the one who has no reason to pass judgment on himself for what he approves.
