  21. The Light in You

  27. The Parable of the Lost Coin

    The Unbelief of the People

    When Jesus had said these things, he departed and hid himself from them.
  47. I have come into the world as light, so that whoever believes in me may not remain in darkness.
  48. Now as he went on his way, he approached Damascus, and suddenly a light from heaven shone around him.
  49. And behold, an angel of the Lord stood next to him, and a light shone in the cell. He struck Peter on the side and woke him, saying, “Get up quickly.” And the chains fell off his hands.

  53. Now those who were with me saw the light but did not understand the voice of the one who was speaking to me.

  57. that the Christ must suffer and that, by being the first to rise from the dead, he would proclaim light both to our people and to the Gentiles.”
  58. And when they had eaten enough, they lightened the ship, throwing out the wheat into the sea.
  59. and if you are sure that you yourself are a guide to the blind, a light to those who are in darkness,
  60. The night is far gone; the day is at hand. So then let us cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light.
  61. Therefore do not pronounce judgment before the time, before the Lord comes, who will bring to light the things now hidden in darkness and will disclose the purposes of the heart. Then each one will receive his commendation from God.
  62. The Light of the Gospel

    Therefore, having this ministry by the mercy of God, we do not lose heart.

  75. giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light.
  76. For you are all children of light, children of the day. We are not of the night or of the darkness.
  77. who alone has immortality, who dwells in unapproachable light, whom no one has ever seen or can see. To him be honor and eternal dominion. Amen.
  78. and which now has been manifested through the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus, who abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel,
  79. And have you forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons? “My son, do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord, nor be weary when reproved by him.

  81. But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
  82. Walking in the Light

    This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
  83. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.
  84. At the same time, it is a new commandment that I am writing to you, which is true in him and in you, because the darkness is passing away and the true light is already shining.

  93. And the city has no need of sun or moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and its lamp is the Lamb.
  94. By its light will the nations walk, and the kings of the earth will bring their glory into it,
  95. And night will be no more. They will need no light of lamp or sun, for the Lord God will be their light, and they will reign forever and ever.
