  1. God's Covenant with Abram

    After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision: “Fear not, Abram, I am your shield; your reward shall be very great.”

  11. “Do not make yourselves unclean by any of these things, for by all these the nations I am driving out before you have become unclean,
  12. And you shall not walk in the customs of the nation that I am driving out before you, for they did all these things, and therefore I detested them.
  13. Every native Israelite shall do these things in this way, in offering a food offering, with a pleasing aroma to the Lord.
  14. And these things shall be for a statute and rule for you throughout your generations in all your dwelling places.
  15. When you are in tribulation, and all these things come upon you in the latter days, you will return to the Lord your God and obey his voice.
  16. for whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord. And because of these abominations the Lord your God is driving them out before you.
  17. “A woman shall not wear a man's garment, nor shall a man put on a woman's cloak, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord your God.

  79. (though he himself did none of these things), who even eats upon the mountains, defiles his neighbor's wife,
  80. And the people said to me, “Will you not tell us what these things mean for us, that you are acting thus?”

And I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the stream; he raised his right hand and his left hand toward heaven and swore by him who lives forever that it would be for a time, times, and half a time, and that when the shattering of the power of the holy people comes to an end all these things would be finished.
  82. I heard, but I did not understand. Then I said, “O my lord, what shall be the outcome of these things?”
  83. Whoever is wise, let him understand these things; whoever is discerning, let him know them; for the ways of the Lord are right, and the upright walk in them, but transgressors stumble in them.
  84. For there shall be a sowing of peace. The vine shall give its fruit, and the ground shall give its produce, and the heavens shall give their dew. And I will cause the remnant of this people to possess all these things.
  85. do not devise evil in your hearts against one another, and love no false oath, for all these things I hate, declares the Lord.”
