  1. Solomon Worships at Gibeon

    Now Solomon the son of David established himself securely over his kingdom, and the Lord his God was with him and exalted him greatly.

  6. Hezekiah Restores Temple Worship

    Then King Hezekiah got up early and assembled the princes of the city, and went up to the house of the Lord.

  8. Now at the completion of the burnt offerings, the king and all who were present with him bowed down and worshiped.

  10. Is it not the same Hezekiah who removed His high places and His altars, and said to Judah and Jerusalem, “You shall worship before one altar, and on it you shall burn incense”?
  11. For he rebuilt the high places which his father Hezekiah had torn down; he also set up altars for the Baals and made Asherim, and he worshiped all the heavenly lights and served them.
