  1. For when every commandment had been spoken by Moses to all the people according to the Law, he took the blood of the calves and the goats, with water and scarlet wool and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book itself and all the people,
  2. And in the same way he sprinkled both the tabernacle and all the vessels of the ministry with the blood.
  3. And almost all things are cleansed with blood, according to the Law, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.
  4. By this will, we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all time.

  10. But if you are without discipline, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate children and not sons.
  11. For the moment, all discipline seems not to be pleasant, but painful; yet to those who have been trained by it, afterward it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness.
  12. Pursue peace with all people, and the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.
  13. to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, and to God, the Judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect,
  14. Marriage is to be held in honor among all, and the marriage bed is to be undefiled; for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers.
  15. Pray for us, for we are sure that we have a good conscience, desiring to conduct ourselves honorably in all things.
  16. And I urge you all the more to do this, so that I may be restored to you more quickly.
  17. Greet all of your leaders and all the saints. Those from Italy greet you.
  18. Grace be with you all.
