  146. Has a nation changed its gods, even though they are no gods? But my people have changed their glory for that which does not profit.
  147. and if you swear, ‘As the Lord lives,’ in truth, in justice, and in righteousness, then nations shall bless themselves in him, and in him shall they glory.”

  191. The latter glory of this house shall be greater than the former, says the Lord of hosts. And in this place I will give peace, declares the Lord of hosts.’”
  192. And I will be to her a wall of fire all around, declares the Lord, and I will be the glory in her midst.’”

  211. Now Peter and those who were with him were heavy with sleep, but when they became fully awake they saw his glory and the two men who stood with him.
  212. Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
  213. saying, “Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!”
  214. And then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
  215. Was it not necessary that the Christ should suffer these things and enter into his glory?”
  216. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.

  218. I do not receive glory from people.
  219. How can you believe, when you receive glory from one another and do not seek the glory that comes from the only God?

  242. Future Glory

  244. They are Israelites, and to them belong the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the worship, and the promises.
  245. in order to make known the riches of his glory for vessels of mercy, which he has prepared beforehand for glory
  246. For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen.
  247. Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.

  251. Do All to the Glory of God

    “All things are lawful,” but not all things are helpful. “All things are lawful,” but not all things build up.

  253. For a man ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God, but woman is the glory of man.
  254. but if a woman has long hair, it is her glory? For her hair is given to her for a covering.

  258. For all the promises of God find their Yes in him. That is why it is through him that we utter our Amen to God for his glory.
  259. Now if the ministry of death, carved in letters on stone, came with such glory that the Israelites could not gaze at Moses' face because of its glory, which was being brought to an end,
  260. will not the ministry of the Spirit have even more glory?
  261. For if there was glory in the ministry of condemnation, the ministry of righteousness must far exceed it in glory.
  262. Indeed, in this case, what once had glory has come to have no glory at all, because of the glory that surpasses it.
  263. For if what was being brought to an end came with glory, much more will what is permanent have glory.
  264. And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.
  265. In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
  266. For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
  267. For it is all for your sake, so that as grace extends to more and more people it may increase thanksgiving, to the glory of God.
  268. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison,
  269. And not only that, but he has been appointed by the churches to travel with us as we carry out this act of grace that is being ministered by us, for the glory of the Lord himself and to show our good will.
  270. As for Titus, he is my partner and fellow worker for your benefit. And as for our brothers, they are messengers of the churches, the glory of Christ.

    My brothers, show no partiality as you hold the faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory.
  306. so that the tested genuineness of your faith—more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire—may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
  307. Though you have not seen him, you love him. Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory,
  308. who through him are believers in God, who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.
  309. for “All flesh is like grass and all its glory like the flower of grass. The grass withers, and the flower falls,
  310. whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
  311. But rejoice insofar as you share Christ's sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad when his glory is revealed.
  312. If you are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you.
  313. Shepherd the Flock of God

    So I exhort the elders among you, as a fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, as well as a partaker in the glory that is going to be revealed:
  314. And when the chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory.
  315. And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.
  316. Confirm Your Calling and Election

    His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence,
  317. Christ's Glory and the Prophetic Word

    For we did not follow cleverly devised myths when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty.
  318. For when he received honor and glory from God the Father, and the voice was borne to him by the Majestic Glory, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased,”
  319. But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.
  320. Doxology

    Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy,
  321. to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen.
  322. and made us a kingdom, priests to his God and Father, to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
  323. And whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to him who is seated on the throne, who lives forever and ever,

  328. And at that hour there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell. Seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the rest were terrified and gave glory to the God of heaven.
  329. And he said with a loud voice, “Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come, and worship him who made heaven and earth, the sea and the springs of water.”
  330. and the sanctuary was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from his power, and no one could enter the sanctuary until the seven plagues of the seven angels were finished.
  331. They were scorched by the fierce heat, and they cursed the name of God who had power over these plagues. They did not repent and give him glory.
  332. The Fall of Babylon

    After this I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was made bright with his glory.
  333. Rejoicing in Heaven

    After this I heard what seemed to be the loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, crying out, “Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God,
  334. Let us rejoice and exult and give him the glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his Bride has made herself ready;
  335. having the glory of God, its radiance like a most rare jewel, like a jasper, clear as crystal.
  336. And the city has no need of sun or moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and its lamp is the Lamb.
  337. By its light will the nations walk, and the kings of the earth will bring their glory into it,
  338. They will bring into it the glory and the honor of the nations.
