  1. Micaiah Prophesies Against Ahab

    Now Jehoshaphat had great wealth and honor, and he allied himself with Ahab by marriage.
  2. But Jehoash king of Israel replied to Amaziah king of Judah: “A thistle in Lebanon sent a message to a cedar in Lebanon, ‘Give your daughter to my son in marriage.’ Then a wild beast in Lebanon came along and trampled the thistle underfoot.

  21. But those who are considered worthy of taking part in the age to come and in the resurrection from the dead will neither marry nor be given in marriage,
  22. Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral.
