  1. You grumbled in your tents and said, “The Lord hates us; so he brought us out of Egypt to deliver us into the hands of the Amorites to destroy us.
  2. The Lord your God, who is going before you, will fight for you, as he did for you in Egypt, before your very eyes,

  15. But do not be afraid of them; remember well what the Lord your God did to Pharaoh and to all Egypt.
  16. then your heart will become proud and you will forget the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.

    Remember this and never forget how you aroused the anger of the Lord your God in the wilderness. From the day you left Egypt until you arrived here, you have been rebellious against the Lord.
  18. Then the Lord told me, “Go down from here at once, because your people whom you brought out of Egypt have become corrupt. They have turned away quickly from what I commanded them and have made an idol for themselves.”

  22. the signs he performed and the things he did in the heart of Egypt, both to Pharaoh king of Egypt and to his whole country;
  23. what he did to the Egyptian army, to its horses and chariots, how he overwhelmed them with the waters of the Red Sea as they were pursuing you, and how the Lord brought lasting ruin on them.
  24. The land you are entering to take over is not like the land of Egypt, from which you have come, where you planted your seed and irrigated it by foot as in a vegetable garden.
  25. That prophet or dreamer must be put to death for inciting rebellion against the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt and redeemed you from the land of slavery. That prophet or dreamer tried to turn you from the way the Lord your God commanded you to follow. You must purge the evil from among you.
