  17. Praise to the God of All Comfort

    Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort,
  18. as you have understood us in part, you will come to understand fully that you can boast of us just as we will boast of you in the day of the Lord Jesus.
  19. because we know that the one who raised the Lord Jesus from the dead will also raise us with Jesus and present us with you to himself.
  20. For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.
  21. The God and Father of the Lord Jesus, who is to be praised forever, knows that I am not lying.
