  1. and the priests could not perform their service because of the cloud, for the glory of the Lord filled the temple of God.

  6. Hezekiah spoke encouragingly to all the Levites, who showed good understanding of the service of the Lord. For the seven days they ate their assigned portion and offered fellowship offerings and praised the Lord, the God of their ancestors.
  7. In everything that he undertook in the service of God’s temple and in obedience to the law and the commands, he sought his God and worked wholeheartedly. And so he prospered.
  8. He appointed the priests to their duties and encouraged them in the service of the Lord’s temple.
  9. The service was arranged and the priests stood in their places with the Levites in their divisions as the king had ordered.
  10. So at that time the entire service of the Lord was carried out for the celebration of the Passover and the offering of burnt offerings on the altar of the Lord, as King Josiah had ordered.
