  14. “Go away! What do you want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you arethe Holy One of God!”

    While Jesus was in one of the towns, a man came along who was covered with leprosy. When he saw Jesus, he fell with his face to the ground and begged him, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.”

  20. But you are not to be like that. Instead, the greatest among you should be like the youngest, and the one who rules like the one who serves.
  21. A little later someone else saw him and said, “You also are one of them.” “Man, I am not!” Peter replied.
  22. One of the criminals who hung there hurled insults at him: “Aren’t you the Messiah? Save yourself and us!”
  23. One of them, named Cleopas, asked him, “Are you the only one visiting Jerusalem who does not know the things that have happened there in these days?”
  24. He came to Jesus at night and said, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the signs you are doing if God were not with him.”
  25. Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.”
