  1. Sectarianism Is Sin

Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

Now in giving these instructions I do not praise you, since you come together not for the better but for the worse.
  12. Even so you, since you are zealous for spiritual gifts, let it be for the edification of the church that you seek to excel.
  13. What is the conclusion then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will also pray with the understanding. I will sing with the spirit, and I will also sing with the understanding.
  14. Otherwise, if you bless with the spirit, how will he who occupies the place of the uninformed say “Amen” at your giving of thanks, since he does not understand what you say?
  15. For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,
  16. And if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins!
  17. For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead.
  18. Awake to righteousness, and do not sin; for some do not have the knowledge of God. I speak this to your shame.
  19. The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law.
