  1. For that preaching of the cross is to them that perish, foolishness: but unto us, which are saved, it is the power of God.

  15. Or have we not power to lead about a wife being a sister, as well as the rest of the Apostles, and as the brethren of the Lord, and Cephas?
  16. Or I only and Barnabas, have not we power not to work?
  17. If others with you be partakers of this power, are not we rather? nevertheless, we have not used this power: but suffer all things, that we should not hinder the Gospel of Christ.
  18. Therefore ought the woman to have power on her head, because of the Angels.
  19. Except I know then the power of the voice, I shall be unto him that speaketh a Barbarian, and he that speaketh, shall be a Barbarian unto me.
  20. Then shall be the end, when he hath delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father, when he hath put down all rule, and all authority and power.
  21. It is sown in dishonor, and is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness, and is raised in power.
