  1. This they did, sending their gift to the elders by Barnabas and Saul.

  19. In Berea

    As soon as it was night, the believers sent Paul and Silas away to Berea. On arriving there, they went to the Jewish synagogue.
  20. The believers immediately sent Paul to the coast, but Silas and Timothy stayed at Berea.
  21. He sent two of his helpers, Timothy and Erastus, to Macedonia, while he stayed in the province of Asia a little longer.
  22. Even some of the officials of the province, friends of Paul, sent him a message begging him not to venture into the theater.

    When the uproar had ended, Paul sent for the disciples and, after encouraging them, said goodbye and set out for Macedonia.
