  1. And I am glad for your sakes that I was not there, to the intent ye may believe; nevertheless let us go unto him.

  16. I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.
  17. And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
  18. Now I tell you before it come, that, when it is come to pass, ye may believe that I am he.
  19. Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
  20. Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
  21. Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake.
  22. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
  23. And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe.

  25. for the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.
