and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.”

But Jesus, overhearing what was being spoken, *said to the synagogue official, “Do not be afraid, only believe.”

But Jesus said to him, “‘If You can?’ All things are possible for the one who believes.”

Immediately the boy’s father cried out and said, “I do believe; help my unbelief!”

“Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it is better for him if a heavy millstone is hung around his neck and he is thrown into the sea.

Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will be granted to him.

Therefore, I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted to you.

And they began considering the implications among themselves, saying, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ He will say, ‘Then why did you not believe him?’
-
And then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ’; or, ‘Look, there He is’; do not believe it;
-
Let this Christ, the King of Israel, come down now from the cross, so that we may see and believe!” Those who were crucified with Him were also insulting Him.

And when they heard that He was alive and had been seen by her, they refused to believe it.
-
And they went away and reported it to the rest, but they did not believe them, either.
-
The Disciples Commissioned
Later He appeared to the eleven disciples themselves as they were reclining at the table; and He reprimanded them for their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they had not believed those who had seen Him after He had risen from the dead.

The one who has believed and has been baptized will be saved; but the one who has not believed will be condemned.

These signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues;
