  11. Is not this the carpenter’s son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas?
  12. And it came to pass, that when Jesus had finished these sayings, he departed from Galilee, and came into the coasts of Judæa beyond Jordan;
  13. then let them which be in Judæa flee into the mountains:
  14. Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went unto the chief priests,
  15. Then Judas, which betrayed him, answered and said, Master, is it I? He said unto him, Thou hast said.
  16. And while he yet spake, lo, Judas, one of the twelve, came, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and elders of the people.
  17. Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders,
  18. And there went out unto him all the land of Judæa, and they of Jerusalem, and were all baptized of him in the river of Jordan, confessing their sins.
  19. But Jesus withdrew himself with his disciples to the sea: and a great multitude from Galilee followed him, and from Judæa,
  20. and Judas Iscariot, which also betrayed him: and they went into an house.

  23. But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judæa flee to the mountains:
  24. And Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve, went unto the chief priests, to betray him unto them.
  25. And immediately, while he yet spake, cometh Judas, one of the twelve, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and the scribes and the elders.
  26. There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judæa, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth.
  27. And Mary arose in those days, and went into the hill country with haste, into a city of Juda;
  28. And fear came on all that dwelt round about them: and all these sayings were noised abroad throughout all the hill country of Judæa.
  29. And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judæa, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:)
  30. Now in the fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberius Cæsar, Pontius Pilate being governor of Judæa, and Herod being tetrarch of Galilee, and his brother Philip tetrarch of Ituræa and of the region of Trachonitis, and Lysanias the tetrarch of Abilene,
  31. which was the son of Maath, which was the son of Mattathias, which was the son of Semei, which was the son of Joseph, which was the son of Juda,
  32. which was the son of Simeon, which was the son of Juda, which was the son of Joseph, which was the son of Jonan, which was the son of Eliakim,
  33. which was the son of Aminadab, which was the son of Aram, which was the son of Esrom, which was the son of Phares, which was the son of Juda,
  34. And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judæa, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them.
  35. and Judas the brother of James, and Judas Iscariot, which also was the traitor.
  36. And he came down with them, and stood in the plain, and the company of his disciples, and a great multitude of people out of all Judæa and Jerusalem, and from the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon, which came to hear him, and to be healed of their diseases;
  37. And this rumour of him went forth throughout all Judæa, and throughout all the region round about.
  38. Then let them which are in Judæa flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.
  39. Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve.
  40. And while he yet spake, behold a multitude, and he that was called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them, and drew near unto Jesus to kiss him.
  41. But Jesus said unto him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss?
  42. After these things came Jesus and his disciples into the land of Judæa; and there he tarried with them, and baptized.
  43. he left Judæa, and departed again into Galilee.
  44. When he heard that Jesus was come out of Judæa into Galilee, he went unto him, and besought him that he would come down, and heal his son: for he was at the point of death.
  45. This is again the second miracle that Jesus did, when he was come out of Judæa into Galilee.
  46. He spake of Judas Iscariot the son of Simon: for he it was that should betray him, being one of the twelve.
  47. His brethren therefore said unto him, Depart hence, and go into Judæa, that thy disciples also may see the works that thou doest.
  48. Then after that saith he to his disciples, Let us go into Judæa again.
  49. Then saith one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, which should betray him,
  50. And supper being ended, the devil having now put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, to betray him;
  51. Jesus answered, He it is, to whom I shall give a sop, when I have dipped it. And when he had dipped the sop, he gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon.
  52. For some of them thought, because Judas had the bag, that Jesus had said unto him, Buy those things that we have need of against the feast; or, that he should give something to the poor.
  53. Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?
  54. And Judas also, which betrayed him, knew the place: for Jesus ofttimes resorted thither with his disciples.
  55. Judas then, having received a band of men and officers from the chief priests and Pharisees, cometh thither with lanterns and torches and weapons.
  56. They answered him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus saith unto them, I am he. And Judas also, which betrayed him, stood with them.
  57. But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judæa, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
  58. And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of Alphæus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James.

  73. We have sent therefore Judas and Silas, who shall also tell you the same things by mouth.

  85. Of the tribe of Juda were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand.
