  1. “Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

  6. The Leaven

    He spoke another parable to them: “The kingdom of heaven is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three sata of flour until it was all leavened.”
  7. All these things Jesus spoke to the crowds in parables, and He did not speak anything to them without a parable.
  8. The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all stumbling blocks, and those who commit lawlessness,

  13. and they pleaded with Him that they might just touch the border of His cloak; and all who touched it were cured.

  15. And He answered and said, “Elijah is coming and will restore all things;
  16. But since he did not have the means to repay, his master commanded that he be sold, along with his wife and children and all that he had, and repayment be made.
  17. So when his fellow slaves saw what had happened, they were deeply grieved and came and reported to their master all that had happened.
  18. Then summoning him, his master *said to him, ‘You wicked slave, I forgave you all that debt because you pleaded with me.
  19. And his master, moved with anger, handed him over to the torturers until he would repay all that was owed him.
  20. Some Pharisees came to Jesus, testing Him and asking, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any reason at all?”
  21. But He said to them, “Not all men can accept this statement, but only those to whom it has been given.
  22. The young man *said to Him, “All these I have kept; what am I still lacking?”
  23. And looking at them, Jesus said to them, “With people this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
  24. And about the eleventh hour he went out and found others standing around; and he *said to them, ‘Why have you been standing here idle all day long?’
  25. But the crowd sternly warned them to be quiet; yet they cried out all the more, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!”
