  1. Procedures for the Grain Offering

    “When you present grain as an offering to the Lord, the offering must consist of choice flour. You are to pour olive oil on it, sprinkle it with frankincense,
  2. “Give the following instructions to the people of Israel. This is how you are to deal with those who sin unintentionally by doing anything that violates one of the Lord’s commands.

    “If you are called to testify about something you have seen or that you know about, it is sinful to refuse to testify, and you will be punished for your sin.
  4. “Suppose you sin by violating one of the Lord’s commands. Even if you are unaware of what you have done, you are guilty and will be punished for your sin.
  5. If you have sinned in any of these ways, you are guilty. You must give back whatever you stole, or the money you took by extortion, or the security deposit, or the lost property you found,
  6. If you are ceremonially unclean and you eat meat from a peace offering that was presented to the Lord, you will be cut off from the community.
  7. The insects you are permitted to eat include all kinds of locusts, bald locusts, crickets, and grasshoppers.
  8. “If an animal you are permitted to eat dies and you touch its carcass, you will be defiled until evening.
  9. for another examination. If the affected areas have indeed turned white, the priest will then pronounce the person ceremonially clean by declaring, ‘You are clean!’
  10. “Give the following instructions to the people of Israel. These are the Lord’s appointed festivals, which you are to proclaim as official days for holy assembly.
  11. “Give the following instructions to the people of Israel. On the first day of the appointed month in early autumn, you are to observe a day of complete rest. It will be an official day for holy assembly, a day commemorated with loud blasts of a trumpet.
  12. You must do no ordinary work on that day. Instead, you are to present special gifts to the Lord.”
  13. Redemption of Property

    “The land must never be sold on a permanent basis, for the land belongs to me. You are only foreigners and tenant farmers working for me.
  14. Then at last the land will enjoy its neglected Sabbath years as it lies desolate while you are in exile in the land of your enemies. Then the land will finally rest and enjoy the Sabbaths it missed.
