  1. Israel’s Obstinate Disobedience

    The Lord is well pleased for His righteousness’ sake; He will exalt the law and make it honorable.

  17. He shall see the labor of His soul, and be satisfied. By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many, For He shall bear their iniquities.
  18. In righteousness you shall be established; You shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; And from terror, for it shall not come near you.
  19. No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord.
  20. Salvation for the Gentiles

    Thus says the Lord: “Keep justice, and do righteousness, For My salvation is about to come, And My righteousness to be revealed.
  21. Israel’s Futile Idolatry

    The righteous perishes, And no man takes it to heart; Merciful men are taken away, While no one considers That the righteous is taken away from evil.
  22. I will declare your righteousness And your works, For they will not profit you.
  23. Yet they seek Me daily, And delight to know My ways, As a nation that did righteousness, And did not forsake the ordinance of their God. They ask of Me the ordinances of justice; They take delight in approaching God.
