  17. Who is the man that fears the Lord? Him shall He teach in the way He chooses.
  18. Consider my enemies, for they are many; And they hate me with cruel hatred.
  19. The voice of the Lord is over the waters; The God of glory thunders; The Lord is over many waters.
  20. I am forgotten like a dead man, out of mind; I am like a broken vessel.
  21. For I hear the slander of many; Fear is on every side; While they take counsel together against me, They scheme to take away my life.
  22. You shall hide them in the secret place of Your presence From the plots of man; You shall keep them secretly in a pavilion From the strife of tongues.
  23. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord does not impute iniquity, And in whose spirit there is no deceit.
  24. Many sorrows shall be to the wicked; But he who trusts in the Lord, mercy shall surround him.
  25. No king is saved by the multitude of an army; A mighty man is not delivered by great strength.
