  10. Now David was clothed with a robe of fine linen with all the Levites who were carrying the ark, and the singers, and Chenaniah the leader of the singing with the singers. David also wore an ephod of linen.
  11. Sing to Him, sing praises to Him; Speak of all His wonders.
  12. Sing to the Lord, all the earth; Proclaim good news of His salvation from day to day.
  13. Then the trees of the forest will sing for joy in the presence of the Lord; For He is coming to judge the earth.

  17. Since more chief men were found from the descendants of Eleazar than the descendants of Ithamar, they divided them this way: there were sixteen heads of fathers’ households of the descendants of Eleazar, and eight of the descendants of Ithamar according to their fathers’ households.
  18. All of these were under the direction of their father to sing in the house of the Lord, with cymbals, harps, and lyres, for the service of the house of God. Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman were under the direction of the king.
  19. Their number who were trained in singing to the Lord, with their relatives, all who were skillful, was 288.
  20. Since I know, my God, that You put the heart to the test and delight in uprightness, I, in the integrity of my heart, have willingly offered all these things; so now with joy I have seen Your people, who are present here, make their offerings willingly to You.
