  12. Therefore some of the Pharisees were saying, “This man is not from God, because He does not keep the Sabbath.” But others were saying, “How can a man who is a sinner perform such signs?” And there was dissension among them.
  13. So they *said again to the man who was blind, “What do you say about Him, since He opened your eyes?” And he said, “He is a prophet.”
  14. So for a second time they summoned the man who had been blind, and said to him, “Give glory to God; we know that this man is a sinner.”
  15. He then answered, “Whether He is a sinner, I do not know; one thing I do know, that though I was blind, now I see.”
  16. We know that God does not listen to sinners; but if someone is God-fearing and does His will, He listens to him.
  17. Since the beginning of time it has never been heard that anyone opened the eyes of a person born blind.
  18. They answered him, “You were born entirely in sins, and yet you are teaching us?” So they put him out.
  19. Jesus said to them, “If you were blind, you would have no sin; but now that you maintain, ‘We see,’ your sin remains.
  20. For some were assuming, since Judas kept the money box, that Jesus was saying to him, “Buy the things we need for the feast”; or else, that he was to give something to the poor.
  21. If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin.
  22. If I had not done among them the works which no one else did, they would not have sin; but now they have both seen and hated Me and My Father as well.

    “These things I have spoken to you so that you will not be led into sin.
  24. And He, when He comes, will convict the world regarding sin, and righteousness, and judgment:
  25. regarding sin, because they do not believe in Me;
