Numbers 26:51-56

51 These are the ones who were numbered of the sons of Israel, (A)601,730.
52 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 53 “[a]Among these the land shall be divided as an inheritance according to the number of names. 54 (B)To a larger group you shall increase their inheritance, and to a smaller group you shall decrease their inheritance; each shall be given their inheritance corresponding to the total of those who were numbered of them. 55 But the land shall be (C)divided by lot. They shall receive their inheritance according to the names of the tribes of their fathers. 56 Corresponding to the selection by lot, their inheritance shall be divided between the larger and the smaller groups.”

51 These are they that were numbered of the children of Israel, six hundred thousand and a thousand seven hundred and thirty.
52 And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying, 53 Unto these the land shall be divided for an inheritance according to the number of names. 54 To the more thou shalt give the more inheritance, and to the fewer thou shalt give the less inheritance: to every one according to those that were numbered of him shall his inheritance be given. 55 Notwithstanding, the land shall be divided by lot: according to the names of the tribes of their fathers they shall inherit. 56 According to the lot shall their inheritance be divided between the more and the fewer.
