惡人之罪惡
36 耶和華的僕人大衛的詩，交於伶長。
1 惡人的罪過，在他心裡說：「我眼中不怕神。」
2 他自誇自媚，以為他的罪孽終不顯露，不被恨惡。
3 他口中的言語盡是罪孽詭詐，他與智慧善行已經斷絕。
4 他在床上圖謀罪孽，定意行不善的道，不憎惡惡事。
神之慈愛
5 耶和華啊，你的慈愛上及諸天，你的信實達到穹蒼。
6 你的公義好像高山，你的判斷如同深淵。耶和華啊，人民、牲畜你都救護。
7 神啊，你的慈愛何其寶貴，世人投靠在你翅膀的蔭下。
8 他們必因你殿裡的肥甘得以飽足，你也必叫他們喝你樂河的水。
9 因為在你那裡有生命的源頭，在你的光中我們必得見光。
10 願你常施慈愛給認識你的人，常以公義待心裡正直的人。
11 不容驕傲人的腳踐踏我，不容凶惡人的手趕逐我。
12 在那裡，作孽的人已經仆倒，他們被推倒，不能再起來。

人的邪惡與上帝的美善
耶和華的僕人大衛的詩，交給樂長。
36 罪惡在惡人內心深處說話，
他們眼中毫無對上帝的畏懼。
2 他們自以為是，渾然不知自己的罪，
也不憎惡自己的罪。
3 他們滿口惡言謊話，
毫無智慧和善行。
4 他們躺在床上盤算作惡，
執意走罪惡的道路，
無惡不作。
5 耶和華啊，你的慈愛廣及諸天，
你的信實高達穹蒼。
6 你的公義穩如高山，
你的判斷深不可測。
耶和華啊，你保護人類，
也保護牲畜。
7 上帝啊，
你的慈愛無比寶貴！
世人都在你的翅膀下尋求蔭庇。
8 你讓他們飽享你殿裡的美食，
暢飲你樂河中的水。
9 因為你是生命的泉源，
在你的光中我們得見光明。
10 求你常施慈愛給認識你的人，
以公義恩待心地正直的人。
11 別讓驕傲人的腳踐踏我，
別讓兇惡人的手驅趕我。
12 看啊！惡人已經摔倒在地，
再也爬不起來。

For the director of music. Of David the servant of the Lord.
1 I have a message from God in my heart
concerning the sinfulness of the wicked:[b](A)
There is no fear(B) of God
before their eyes.(C)
2 In their own eyes they flatter themselves
too much to detect or hate their sin.(D)
3 The words of their mouths(E) are wicked and deceitful;(F)
they fail to act wisely(G) or do good.(H)
4 Even on their beds they plot evil;(I)
they commit themselves to a sinful course(J)
and do not reject what is wrong.(K)
5 Your love, Lord, reaches to the heavens,
your faithfulness(L) to the skies.(M)
6 Your righteousness(N) is like the highest mountains,(O)
your justice like the great deep.(P)
You, Lord, preserve both people and animals.(Q)
7 How priceless is your unfailing love, O God!(R)
People take refuge in the shadow of your wings.(S)
8 They feast on the abundance of your house;(T)
you give them drink from your river(U) of delights.(V)
9 For with you is the fountain of life;(W)
in your light(X) we see light.
