Yo tankou moun k'ap voye kout rach pou koupe pyebwa nan yon gwo rak.

Yo kraze bout bèl panno bwa byen travay ki te nan tanp lan, anba kout rach ak kout mato.

Yo mete dife nan kay ki apa pou ou a, yo derespekte kote yo fè sèvis pou ou a, yo kraze l' vide atè.

10 Bondye, kilè moun k'ap pile nou anba pye yo va sispann joure?

19 Pa lage pèp ou nan men lènmi l' yo tankou toutrèl devan malfini.

21 Pa kite moun y'ap peze yo wont!

(75:3) Bondye di: -Mwen fikse yon dat pou jijman an. Lè sa a, m'a jije jan sa dwe fèt.

(75:4) Nou te mèt wè latè a ansanm ak tout sa k'ap viv sou li yo pran tranble, m'ap kenbe fondasyon li yo byen fèm.

(75:5) M'ap di moun k'ap fè grandizè yo: Sispann gonfle lestonmak nou! M'ap di mechan yo: Sispann fè awogans!

¶ (75:7) Jijman an pa soti bò kote solèy leve a, ni bò kote solèy kouche a. Li pa soti nan nò ni nan sid.

(75:8) Non. Se Bondye k'ap jije: L'ap bese yonn, l'ap leve yon lòt.

(75:9) Seyè a kenbe yon gode nan men l'. Gode a plen divès kalite tranpe ki fèt ak diven. L'ap vide diven bay tout mechan ki sou latè, y'ap bwè, y'ap bwè san yo pa kite yon ti tak.

Mwen p'ap janm sispann chante pou fè lwanj li.

10 (75:11) L'a kraze fòs kouraj mechan yo. Men, l'ap bay moun ki mache dwat yo plis kouraj ankò!

Koulye a y'ap dòmi nèt, yo mouri.

Depi ou fè va sou yo, ni kavalye ni chwal, yo tout yo tonbe, yo mouri frèt.

¶ (76:8) Men ou menm, ou fè moun respekte ou! Kilès ki ka rete kanpe devan ou lè ou an kòlè?

(76:9) Ou rete nan syèl la, ou fè konnen jan w'ap jije. Tout moun ki sou latè rete dousman tèlman yo pè,

(76:10) lè Bondye leve pou bay santans li, pou l' delivre tout malere y'ap peze sou tè a.

10 (76:11) Menm lè lèzòm an kòlè, sa sèvi yon lwanj pou ou. Moun ou sove anba lanmò va fè fèt pou ou.

11 (76:12) Fè pwomès ou bay Seyè a ki Bondye, epi kenbe pawòl ou. Nou menm, tout nasyon ki bò kote l' yo, pote kado bay Bondye ki fè moun respekte l' la.

12 (76:13) Li kraze lògèy chèf yo, li fè wa latè yo respekte l'.

77 ¶ (77:1) Pou chèf sanba yo. Pou Jedoutoun. Se yon sòm Asaf. (77:2) Mwen rele byen fò nan pye Bondye. Wi, mwen rele nan pye Bondye, li koute mwen.

(77:3) Lè mwen nan tray, mwen lapriyè nan pye Seyè a. Tout lannwit m'ap lapriyè san rete, mwen pa ka jwenn konsolasyon.

(77:4) Mwen chonje Bondye, m'ap plenn! M'ap kalkile, mwen santi m' dekouraje!

(77:6) M'ap chonje tan lontan, wi, m'ap chonje lanne pase anwo yo.

(77:7) Mwen pase nwit ap repase chante yo, m'ap kalkile anpil nan kè m', m'ap egzaminen, m'ap di:

(77:8 -)Eske Seyè a voye m' jete nèt? Eske li p'ap janm kontan avè m' ankò?

(77:9) Eske Bondye pa gen bon kè ankò? Eske li p'ap kenbe pawòl li ankò?

(77:10) Eske Bondye bliye gen pitye? Eske lè li ankòlè li pa pran priyè?

10 (77:11) Apre sa mwen di: Men sak fè m' pi mal ankò! Gen lè Bondye ki anwo nan syèl la pa menm jan an ankò?

Tè a soti pè, li pran tranble.

19 (77:20) Ou louvri yon chemen pou ou nan mitan lanmè a. Ou pase nan mitan gwo lanmè fon fon an. Men pesonn pa ka wè mak pye kote ou pase.

20 (77:21) Ou pran Moyiz ak Arawon, ou fè yo mennen pèp ou a tankou yon bann mouton y'ap mennen.

Psalm 74

A maskil[a] of Asaph.

O God, why have you rejected(A) us forever?(B)
    Why does your anger smolder against the sheep of your pasture?(C)
Remember the nation you purchased(D) long ago,(E)
    the people of your inheritance,(F) whom you redeemed(G)
    Mount Zion,(H) where you dwelt.(I)
Turn your steps toward these everlasting ruins,(J)
    all this destruction the enemy has brought on the sanctuary.

Your foes roared(K) in the place where you met with us;
    they set up their standards(L) as signs.
They behaved like men wielding axes
    to cut through a thicket of trees.(M)
They smashed all the carved(N) paneling
    with their axes and hatchets.
They burned your sanctuary to the ground;
    they defiled(O) the dwelling place(P) of your Name.(Q)
They said in their hearts, “We will crush(R) them completely!”
    They burned(S) every place where God was worshiped in the land.

We are given no signs from God;(T)
    no prophets(U) are left,
    and none of us knows how long this will be.
10 How long(V) will the enemy mock(W) you, God?
    Will the foe revile(X) your name forever?
11 Why do you hold back your hand, your right hand?(Y)
    Take it from the folds of your garment(Z) and destroy them!

12 But God is my King(AA) from long ago;
    he brings salvation(AB) on the earth.

13 It was you who split open the sea(AC) by your power;
    you broke the heads of the monster(AD) in the waters.
14 It was you who crushed the heads of Leviathan(AE)
    and gave it as food to the creatures of the desert.(AF)
15 It was you who opened up springs(AG) and streams;
    you dried up(AH) the ever-flowing rivers.
16 The day is yours, and yours also the night;
    you established the sun and moon.(AI)
17 It was you who set all the boundaries(AJ) of the earth;
    you made both summer and winter.(AK)

18 Remember how the enemy has mocked you, Lord,
    how foolish people(AL) have reviled your name.
19 Do not hand over the life of your dove(AM) to wild beasts;
    do not forget the lives of your afflicted(AN) people forever.
20 Have regard for your covenant,(AO)
    because haunts of violence fill the dark places(AP) of the land.
21 Do not let the oppressed(AQ) retreat in disgrace;
    may the poor and needy(AR) praise your name.
22 Rise up,(AS) O God, and defend your cause;
    remember how fools(AT) mock you all day long.
23 Do not ignore the clamor(AU) of your adversaries,(AV)
    the uproar(AW) of your enemies,(AX) which rises continually.

Psalm 75[b]

For the director of music. To the tune of “Do Not Destroy.” A psalm of Asaph. A song.

We praise you, God,
    we praise you, for your Name is near;(AY)
    people tell of your wonderful deeds.(AZ)

You say, “I choose the appointed time;(BA)
    it is I who judge with equity.(BB)
When the earth and all its people quake,(BC)
    it is I who hold its pillars(BD) firm.[c]
To the arrogant(BE) I say, ‘Boast no more,’(BF)
    and to the wicked, ‘Do not lift up your horns.[d](BG)
Do not lift your horns against heaven;
    do not speak so defiantly.(BH)’”

No one from the east or the west
    or from the desert can exalt themselves.
It is God who judges:(BI)
    He brings one down, he exalts another.(BJ)
In the hand of the Lord is a cup
    full of foaming wine mixed(BK) with spices;
he pours it out, and all the wicked of the earth
    drink it down to its very dregs.(BL)

As for me, I will declare(BM) this forever;
    I will sing(BN) praise to the God of Jacob,(BO)
10 who says, “I will cut off the horns of all the wicked,
    but the horns of the righteous will be lifted up.”(BP)

Psalm 76[e]

For the director of music. With stringed instruments. A psalm of Asaph. A song.

God is renowned in Judah;
    in Israel his name is great.(BQ)
His tent is in Salem,(BR)
    his dwelling place in Zion.(BS)
There he broke the flashing arrows,(BT)
    the shields and the swords, the weapons of war.[f](BU)

You are radiant with light,(BV)
    more majestic than mountains rich with game.
The valiant(BW) lie plundered,
    they sleep their last sleep;(BX)
not one of the warriors
    can lift his hands.
At your rebuke,(BY) God of Jacob,
    both horse and chariot(BZ) lie still.

It is you alone who are to be feared.(CA)
    Who can stand(CB) before you when you are angry?(CC)
From heaven you pronounced judgment,
    and the land feared(CD) and was quiet—
when you, God, rose up to judge,(CE)
    to save all the afflicted(CF) of the land.
10 Surely your wrath against mankind brings you praise,(CG)
    and the survivors of your wrath are restrained.[g]

11 Make vows to the Lord your God and fulfill them;(CH)
    let all the neighboring lands
    bring gifts(CI) to the One to be feared.
12 He breaks the spirit of rulers;
    he is feared by the kings of the earth.

Psalm 77[h]

For the director of music. For Jeduthun. Of Asaph. A psalm.

I cried out to God(CJ) for help;
    I cried out to God to hear me.
When I was in distress,(CK) I sought the Lord;
    at night(CL) I stretched out untiring hands,(CM)
    and I would not be comforted.(CN)

I remembered(CO) you, God, and I groaned;(CP)
    I meditated, and my spirit grew faint.[i](CQ)
You kept my eyes from closing;
    I was too troubled to speak.(CR)
I thought about the former days,(CS)
    the years of long ago;
I remembered my songs in the night.
    My heart meditated and my spirit asked:

“Will the Lord reject forever?(CT)
    Will he never show his favor(CU) again?
Has his unfailing love(CV) vanished forever?
    Has his promise(CW) failed for all time?
Has God forgotten to be merciful?(CX)
    Has he in anger withheld his compassion?(CY)

10 Then I thought, “To this I will appeal:
    the years when the Most High stretched out his right hand.(CZ)
11 I will remember the deeds of the Lord;
    yes, I will remember your miracles(DA) of long ago.
12 I will consider(DB) all your works
    and meditate on all your mighty deeds.”(DC)

13 Your ways, God, are holy.
    What god is as great as our God?(DD)
14 You are the God who performs miracles;(DE)
    you display your power among the peoples.
15 With your mighty arm you redeemed your people,(DF)
    the descendants of Jacob and Joseph.

16 The waters(DG) saw you, God,
    the waters saw you and writhed;(DH)
    the very depths were convulsed.
17 The clouds poured down water,(DI)
    the heavens resounded with thunder;(DJ)
    your arrows(DK) flashed back and forth.
18 Your thunder was heard in the whirlwind,(DL)
    your lightning(DM) lit up the world;
    the earth trembled and quaked.(DN)
19 Your path(DO) led through the sea,(DP)
    your way through the mighty waters,
    though your footprints were not seen.

20 You led your people(DQ) like a flock(DR)
    by the hand of Moses and Aaron.(DS)
