Matthew 25:37-40

37 “Then these righteous ones will reply, ‘Lord, when did we ever see you hungry and feed you? Or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 Or a stranger and show you hospitality? Or naked and give you clothing? 39 When did we ever see you sick or in prison and visit you?’
40 “And the King will say, ‘I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters,[a] you were doing it to me!’

37 Then the righteous will answer him,[a] ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When[b] did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or naked and clothe you? 39 When[c] did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ 40 And the king will answer them,[d] ‘I tell you the truth,[e] just as you did it for one of the least of these brothers or sisters[f] of mine, you did it for me.’

In this context Jesus is ultimately speaking of his “followers” (whether men or women, adults or children), but the familial connotation of “brothers and sisters” is also important to retain here.

37 Even then the righteous will not have achieved perfect understanding and will not recall these things.
Righteous: Master, when did we find You hungry and give You food? When did we find You thirsty and slake Your thirst? 38 When did we find You a stranger and welcome You in, or find You naked and clothe You? 39 When did we find You sick and nurse You to health? When did we visit You when You were in prison?
King: 40 I tell you this: whenever you saw a brother or sister hungry or cold, whatever you did to the least of these, so you did to Me.
